I shouldn't have complained about yesterday just being another day. I love normal days, I don't have to worry about anything. I have learned that you shouldn't complain about the quiet days.
Last night my Dad felt like someone was squeezing his chest, we were watching the Mummy Returns, and Dad was still laughing with 'Una as they watched it. And then Mum comes in and demands dad gets dressed and comes to the hospital.
Dad reluctantly gets dressed and goes.
Next thing we know it turns out Dad had a minor heart attack, and is staying in hospital. He is still making his usual Dad jokes. But somehow, it seems more real that my father is aging. He isn't the Dad that I remember taking me fishing, and carrying me. He is someone who needs to slow down.
Now, it is a waiting game as we wait for him to have his angiogram, to see whether it is just a minor problem, or the prelude to something that could have been much worse. And I feel bad, because I just don't want to think about it all the time. Instead I made cupcakes for an activity tonight, and what costume am I going to wear. I am not sure whether this is a good way of reacting, but it's the way I seem to be going.
Reality sucks when it hits.

Why 5am??!!!!
Well, I went to sleep last night, and was woken up by Samiu who decided to start our day at 5am. He has proceeded to be grumpy all day, and is now crying as he refuses to eat dinner because he's so tired. So I have been awake for 12 straight hours, over that. And I am starting to feel it. I am so tired I don't really want to eat dinner.
Another thing, who invented pickled pork. I mean who woke up and decided that pork needed to be pickled. Mum cooked it for dinner tonight, and when the packaging first came off, I have to admit it smelt like mouldy fart. ha ha ha ha!!!!! And it hung around for a while as well. At least it didn't come out smelling like that. Ha ha!!!!
'Una went to work with Jess and Stewart today, so he was out of the house being a productive member of society. I almost did nothing. Although I did finish my piano singing teaching sign. It sat outside all day, but alas, no calls yet. I hope for two more students.
I also went to chickenfeed and revealed in all of the christmas stuff they already have for purchase. It's amazing how early the start the season. However I am looking forward to christmas this year, so I don't mind it starting to come a little early.
All in all a day like any other really.

Introducing the 'Oto'ota's!!
Well, everyone else started a blog, and I felt that it would be a good way to keep everyone posted. We are a family of many countries, 'Una being from Tonga, I was born in Australia but am half Italian, and our son, he is a mixture of the three stubourn countries. ha ha ha!!!!
At the moment 'Una is still without work, but has made a leap by getting his forklift license. Whoot!!!! Way to go 'Una. I now have two part time jobs, working as a copy writer for a web marketing company, and teaching piano and singing, which I love.
Teaching makes me feel a little of the joy from when I was still at uni, the joys from two world combine. he he!!!
Samiu is growing like there's no tomorrow. His stubourness is growing also, he has the funniest hissy fits. ha ha!!! He is very strong though, and full of beans most of the time.
We are happy vegimites and that's the way we plan on staying.
Stay posted for more posts. Plus underneath is a picture of 'Una and Samiu at work doing service. I love it!!!!
